Giving people their flowers while they can still smell them is important to me. "My Black Isn't for You" is a poem I wrote that highlights the reality black women face when confined to such a small window of perception. Constantly battling a system that's not designed for you can lead to feelings of unworthiness. Yet & STILL black women embody beauty, and our skin color should never diminish that truth. This visual was crafted as a celebration of the power we posses!
